The privacy and security of the data you entrust to us are a priority for us. We are merely responsible for collecting, storing, processing, transmitting or deleting your personal data based on an ideal of seriousness and limited to those who prove essential to provide you with the best possible service.

You will always be informed of the form and purposes with which they will be used, assuring from now on that all processing of your personal data is guided by the best practices in the field of security and protection of personal data. When your personal data is collected, stored, processed, transmitted or deleted by other entities, we demand the same level of privacy and security. We assume with great integrity and commitment our responsibilities with regard to the protection of your personal data. The use and protection of the Customer's personal data that are under the responsibility of VITROGLASS S.A comply with the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679. This Privacy Policy does not apply to websites that the customer can access through links on the website and/or activities offered by third parties. 1.Who is responsible for the processing of my personal data?

The person responsible for the processing of personal data is Vitroglass S.A., headquartered at Parque Industrial de Geme, G6 G7, 4730-180 Vila Verde – Braga (Portugal).

 

2. Personal data, holders of personal data and categories of personal data;

Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. The customer, a natural person, to whom the data relate and who is contractually bound with Vitroglass S.A. Data provided directly by the holder; data collected within the scope of the relationship established with the holder of such data; personal data requested from the holder processed with his consent, namely, identification and contacts, academic title, gender, date of birth, information about the household, professional status, e-mail address, telephone number, financial information (for example IBAN), as well as the billing address and any other information you deem necessary to provide this company. Data processing includes, namely, the registration, collection, consultation, adaptation, alteration, storage, destruction of data, among other operations, necessary for the execution, execution and management of the contract entered into with Vitroglass S.A; or for the fulfillment of a legal obligation, or even if there is a legitimate interest.

3. How and why does Vitroglass S.A use my personal data?

Your personal data is collected and processed by Vitroglass S.A, only for purposes strictly related to providing an excellent service during and after the experience of purchasing products. Personal data may be collected through the consent given when the user registers on the website, when the data subject contracts, responds to an inquiry, exchanges electronic correspondence with Vitroglass S.A and also:

4. How long does Vitroglass S.A keep my personal data?

The personal data collected are processed by Vitroglass SA for the strictly precise period for the execution of the defined purpose, or as required under any contract or applicable legislation, within a period not exceeding 3 (three) years or, if applicable, the client exercises the right to object, the right to be forgotten or withdraws consent. When the maximum retention period defined above has expired, we will send you a notification with the option to ask us to retain your personal data for an additional period, thus preventing them from being deleted.

 

5. With whom can Vitroglass S.A share my personal data?

Vitroglass S.A may communicate your personal data:

a). To third-party service providers of Vitroglass S.A, namely, companies involved in the process of purchasing and managing collections, transport, storage and marketing.

Vitroglass S.A uses the subcontracting of reputable service providers, who may process Customers' data exclusively for the purposes established by Vitroglass S.A, complying with the legal rules on personal data protection, information security and other applicable rules. These companies are provided with only the personal data essential for the provision of the service in question. When required by law, we may have to disclose your personal data to authorities or third parties, in which case our control over how your personal data is protected is limited.

 

6. How does Vitroglass S.A protect my personal data?

We protect your data by storing it on secure servers and employing cyber security and organizational measures to protect your personal data and mitigate the risk of loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure and alteration. Some of the safeguards we use are firewalls and data encryption, physical access security to our data centers, and information access security. However, we remind you that no system is perfect or allows us to guarantee that unauthorized access or theft will not happen. In cases where we have provided our client with a password that allows access to restricted areas of the website, the client is responsible for keeping this password confidential.

 The Customer has the following rights in relation to his personal information:

Access - The Customer has the right to access the data we have.

Rectification or deletion or “right to be forgotten” - The Client has the right to request that Vitroglass S.A rectify or delete any personal data it holds about the client.

Restriction - The Client has the right to restrict the use of personal information if the data is inaccurate, if the use of the information is illegal or if it is no longer necessary to use the data for the purposes for which we store it.

Change of Preferences - The Customer may change its data processing preferences at any time. For example, if the customer has given their consent to direct marketing but has changed their mind, they can cancel the recebition of marketing communications by contacting us.

Automated decision-making - If the customer has any questions regarding our automated decision-making processes or their accuracy, please let us know or change your preferences.

Complaints - If for any reason the Customer is not satisfied with the way we handle their personal data, please contact Vitroglass S.A.

If the customer requests that the processing of their personal information be canceled for certain actions or that their personal information be deleted, which is essential to facilitate the use of the Site or to allow us to provide a service, the Customer may not be able to use the website or service as before. Your right as a customer to oppose direct marketing may be exercised at any time without restriction. We only ask that you allow at least 5 business days for your order to complete.

You also have the right to withdraw or change, at any time, the consent you have given us to use your personal data.
